In 2025, Homemakers faced an unexpected season. Medical challenges within our leadership team slowed our pace and required us to focus on recovery and sustainability. Even so, the mission continued. With the support of our volunteers and donors, we were still able to step in when survivors needed help the most. While the number of families we served was smaller this year, each home we furnished represented the same commitment we have always held—to ensure that the eight women and eight children we served were able to leave dangerous situations can begin again in a safe, welcoming space.
Through the generosity of our supporters, we were still able to transform empty apartments into comfortable homes. In 2025 we placed 481 household items into the homes of the families we served, including:
As always, these numbers represent only part of what goes into creating a true home. Every apartment is also supplied with fully stocked kitchens and bathrooms—cookware, dishes, towels, and daily essentials—so that when families walk through the door, they are stepping into a place that is ready for living, healing, and beginning again.

In 2024, our third year serving survivors, Homemakers focused on strengthening how we work together as a team. As the mission continued to grow, we took time to refine our processes, improve coordination, and build a more sustainable rhythm for helping families rebuild their homes. While this kind of work often happens quietly behind the scenes, it plays an important role in making sure every family we serve receives thoughtful, consistent support. With the help of our volunteers and supporters, we continued furnishing homes for eight women and nine children, helping them move forward with stability and hope.
Through the generosity of our supporters, we were able to transform empty apartments into welcoming homes. In 2024 we provided:
As always, these numbers represent only part of the story. Every home we furnish also includes fully stocked kitchens and bathrooms with cookware, dishes, towels, and other essentials—ensuring that families walking through the door for the first time can immediately begin living, healing, and rebuilding their lives.

In 2023, our second year of service, Homemakers began to feel the momentum of a growing mission. More families reached out for help, and with that growth came new challenges that stretched our small but dedicated team. We learned quickly that helping survivors rebuild their lives requires flexibility, creativity, and a community willing to step in when it matters most. Despite the growing pains, we were able to furnish homes for six women and eighteen children, helping them step into a safer and more hopeful future.
Amazingly, through your generous support we were able to provide more items to fewer families than 2022. This year's numbers include:
In total, more than 517 household items were placed into homes that year. These numbers also sit alongside the many kitchen and bathroom essentials we provide for every family, ensuring that when survivors walk into their new space, they are stepping into a place that truly feels like home.

This year, we helped six women and eighteen children start new lives. We are immensely happy with this fact, as it means each woman and their kids have the opportunity to heal and grow. What we are most excited about is that no clients have returned to their former partners, which helps solidify their gains in this new life.
Because of the generosity of our supporters, we were able to transform empty apartments into real homes. In 2022 we provided:
These numbers do not include the many smaller but essential items that make a house feel like home. Every apartment was also supplied with fully stocked kitchens and bathrooms, including cookware, dishes, towels, and other daily necessities that help families begin their next chapter with dignity.
